What I offer
Support that meets you where you are.
Every family's experience of loss is unique. My role is not to direct or manage — but to walk alongside you, offering presence, knowledge, and care in whatever form you need most.
An end-of-life doula provides non-medical support during one of life's most profound transitions. I work alongside your medical team, hospice providers, and family — filling the spaces where clinical care ends and human presence begins.
Vigil Support
Being present during the active dying process is one of the most meaningful gifts you can offer a loved one — and one of the hardest things to do alone. I provide a calm, knowledgeable presence during the final hours and days, helping family members understand what is happening, creating a peaceful environment, and ensuring your loved one is never without someone who cares.
- Continuous or intermittent presence during active dying
- Guidance on physical signs and what to expect
- Creating a peaceful, meaningful environment
- Emotional support for family members present
- Coordination with hospice and medical staff
Advance Care Planning
Conversations about end-of-life wishes are among the most important — and most avoided — that families can have. I help facilitate these conversations with gentleness and clarity, ensuring that your loved one's values, preferences, and wishes are heard, honored, and documented before a crisis makes them harder to navigate.
- Facilitated conversations about end-of-life wishes
- Guidance on advance directives and healthcare proxies
- Support in communicating wishes to family and medical teams
- Legacy and meaning-of-life exploration
- Documentation and organization of important decisions
Family Guidance & Emotional Support
Grief begins long before a loved one passes. I offer ongoing support to family members throughout the caregiving journey — helping you process what you're experiencing, navigate difficult decisions, and find moments of connection and grace even in the hardest times.
- Compassionate listening and emotional presence
- Help navigating medical systems and difficult conversations
- Support for anticipatory grief
- Guidance on self-care for family caregivers
- Referrals to grief counselors and community resources
Legacy & Life Review
A life well-lived deserves to be remembered. I offer guided life review sessions — helping your loved one reflect on their story, share memories, and create something meaningful to leave behind. This can be a deeply healing experience for both the person dying and the family who will carry their memory forward.
- Guided life review and storytelling sessions
- Support in creating legacy letters or recordings
- Ethical will and values documentation
- Memory-gathering with family members
- Coordination with photographers or videographers if desired
How we begin
A gentle first step.
Every relationship begins with a conversation. I offer a free, no-obligation consultation — a quiet space to share what your family is navigating and explore whether my support feels like the right fit. There is no pressure, no rush, and no wrong time to reach out.
